Ambition Africa

CEMA, represented by Patrick Lecoy - Export Assistance and Development, took part in Ambition Africa, the leading business event between Africa and France, which was held on 4 and 5 October in Paris Bercy.

Supported by Business France, Team France Export and CIAN, Ambition Africa focused mainly on the business climate in Africa, the agricultural and agri-food sector, the health sector and access to care, the importance of urban mobility for African cities, water and waste management, the energy sector, the extractive industries and telecommunications technologies, logistics, tourism and the hotel industry and, the sinews of war underlined by our friend Etienne Giros access to finance, in particular for African SMEs which are growing very fast.

Mr. Bruno Le Maire, Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, and Mr. Olivier Becht, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs in charge of Foreign Trade, Attractiveness and the French Abroad, did us the honour of opening this important event.

A high quality audience composed the panels of speakers: representatives of banks and development institutions such as the African Development Bank, BPI France or the French Development Agency - Ministers of African countries such as Mr. Daniel Ngamije, Minister of Health of Rwanda and Mr. Gabriel Mbairobe, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Cameroon, bankers, African and European businessmen and women, representatives of the philanthropic sector...

Numerous contacts were established for EMAC members.
And it appears that there are real opportunities for Monegasque companies to take advantage of, in good understanding with the Team France Export eco-system and our allied club the CIAN.
