EBCAM was pleased to welcome its members from all over Europe in the premises of its French member CIAN in Paris, where the 29th General Assembly of EBCAM took place.

The war in Ukraine that monopolises global economic and political affairs, the implications of the energy crisis, the fight for global climate change, energy transition and digital transformation were among the topics discussed with valuable contributions from EBCAM members, national associations that represent the private sectors across Europe and contribute to Africa's development through their members' investments on the continent.
EBCAM welcomed Mr. Hamza El Kacini from BearingPoint who detailed the digital transformation trends in Africa with a focus on Blockchain: its development and prospects.
Mr. Christophe Wartel from Global Sovereign Advisory developed an analysis on the energy opportunities and dynamics of the African continent, as well as the impact of the fight against global warming and CO2 (the green economy) on the public policies of African States and their financing.
