On the sidelines of his presentation of credentials to the Palais for accreditation, H.E. Mr Kayode Ibrahim LARO, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to France was received in the salons of the Hermitage by Mr Frédéric GEERTS, President of CEMA, and Mr Justin HIGHMAN, CEO of the Monaco Economic Board.
The development of business relations between Monaco and Nigeria, a country of 200 million inhabitants, was discussed. Some Monegasque players are already very active in this country, whose resources are much more extensive than just oil and gas.
Very soon, the setting up of CEMA seminars could further strengthen relations between the two countries; Messrs LARO, GEERTS and HIGHMAN also enthusiastically mentioned a future economic mission to Nigeria.
