EMAC is helping Senegal to take up a major challenge: teaching women to swim.
This project, supported by the Princess Charlene Foundation and proposed by its network in Dakar, completes the actions already carried out locally since 2014 to fight against drowning. It will be finalised within 4 to 6 months and will take place in two stages:
Taking up this challenge was made possible by a partnership between 3 entities:
The members of CEMA, represented by Vice President Johanna Houdrouge and Hilde Haneuse, member of the executive board and humanitarian officer, made a donation of 6,100 euros to the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.
This donation was then transferred to the Swimming Federation through the association "La Maison du Rugby", based in Dakar, and represented by its Director Mr Birame FAYE.
This association will be in charge of all the organisation of the "swim for women", for a great result without any doubt! To be continued ...
